Immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer Manager. Position will manage, organize, train, and direct the activities of approximately 15 engineers and technicians. Manufacturing engineering department is responsible for all new product launches, process improvements, sales schedules, work instructions, process implementation along with Kaizen improvement activities. Position will support the Operations department, working closely with the Manufacturing Planning and Test Engineering Groups. Will report to the Director of Operations. BSME or engineering degree desired. Candidate should have 10 years strong manufacturing engineering experience within the electronics manufacturing arena, with a least 5 years experience in direct supervision of engineering personnel. Should have broad knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes and problems with emphasis on process improvement and new product launch activities. Must prove through example Manufacturing Engineering is responsible for the Quality of the Process Must have excellent communications and problem solving skills. Should be familiar with the digital tools of the trade: (CAD, Gerber, Aegis Shop Floor Control) along with Microsoft Office. The candidate must have MUST HAVE CIRCUTE BOARD MANUFACTRING BACKGROUND. MUST HAVE BEEN IN SUPERVISION FOR 7 YEARS
