• Leads the day-to-day activities in the lab • Responsible for the development & EPAs of direct reports; Lab Techs • Instrument calibrations & PM Programs • New Technician Training program, ongoing technician training, and cross training • EZ Labor Approval • Technician Scheduling • Customer Complaint Investigations under direction of QA Manager • HRD Investigations – Determines root cause & Corrective Actions • Manages and Maintains COA Database including test plan development (tests, frequency, methods, etc.) • QA Proficiency Testing – Systematic and Measurement Error Analyses • Customer Requests for Information • Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) • Team Meetings • Coaching/Counseling • Staffing levels • Interfaces with production/operations Food Industry experience a plus
