Duties:
This position will be responsible for monitoring Rome’s Primary Water Pumping Station. Maintains water pumps, motors, machinery and equipment to assure the pumping process is properly operating. Also monitors the performance of electrical gauges, and oil reservoirs. Performs routine cleaning of tanks, and work areas. Maintains grounds at the facility as needed. Evening and Night Shift Work. Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with the completion of a high school diploma or GED. Must possess a valid Driver’s License. Sufficient experience to thoroughly understand the basic standards related to the major duties of the position. Requires the ability to obtain a Class III State Certification within one (1) year of employment. Must become certified to maintain position.
