Job Summary:
Under direct supervision, incumbent solicits, develops and services a wide variety of commercial loan portfolios. Working closely with senior banker(s), contributes to profitability and growth of bank by securing commercial deposit business, providing commercial, real estate and/or SBA loans, lines of credit and other financial services through either direct or cross-selling efforts.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
¦ Manages routine accounts and assists senior bankers in handling larger or more complicated loans.
¦ May be responsible for real estate investments, income property and development and construction loans.
¦ May be responsible for generating SBA loans by proactively calling, developing and maintaining internal and external relationships.
¦ Conducts analyses of applicant financial data to evaluate credit worthiness; drafts documents and agreements as needed.
¦ Makes recommendations to senior staff regarding loans or makes decisions within established limits; monitors outstanding loans.
¦ Sells banking products, builds relationships and provides services to commercial clients.
¦ Represents Synovus within the community.
¦ May be responsible for sourcing and developing prospects and selling various bank products/services.
¦ Performs other duties as needed.
