Harbin Clinic Announces Cancer Center |

Harbin Clinic announced its plans to build a three-story comprehensive cancer center on Second Avenue at W. Fifth Street, near the main entrance of Floyd Medical Center behind Barron Stadium in Rome.
The center will combine local cancer services into one central location. The Breast Center at Floyd will move to the third floor of the new building.
“Providing a true cancer program for our patients is more than building a new facility with the latest equipment and technology,” said Dr. Ken Davis, Harbin president and CEO. “It’s centering everything around the cancer patient’s needs by placing all cancer services in one location.”
The center’s equipment will include a high-tech PET/CT scanner that shows that the concept is a community effort as the scanner is jointly owned by Redmond Regional Medical Center, Floyd Medical Center and Rome Radiology, said Davis.
